I have seen a few oldies gathering at the bay again. They usually meet there during Sundays after going to church. Most of them have become great friends through the years. Perhaps because they shared a lot of similar experiences, or they’re from the same generation. Unlike when they hang out with the younger generation who usually think that their time has passed, they have found good company among themselves.

When they are with each other, they reminisce their good old days. In their hearts and mind, they get to relive the times when they were young.They share their good old stories, while enjoying good wine or home brewed beer. They still have their home brewing equipment and you can clearly see, that these men were molded by time and experience. Though they experience a lot of ups and downs in their lives, they have continued to carry on and prevailed. Not too many live til their old age and experience seeing and living with one generation to another.

They are indeed blessed with a long fruitful life and I hope they continue to be. For me, they are one of the best people with when you want to seek for advice, or would love to know more about history, because they have experienced it firsthand.
