Good Books, Bad Flicks

The conversion from books to the silver screen isn’t a light matter. Oftentimes, movie versions are being criticized by diehard bookworms due to their high expectations of the scenes being totally the same as the movie, and it’s very seldom that a motion picture version turns out the same as the book.

Often, movie versions are not equally appreciated as the books or the other way around (HP and Lord Of The Rings anyone?). But with the coming of the Harry Potter series and nowadays Twilight, the setting is slowly shifting. Maybe a cinema version of The Hunger Games may likewise turn out a hit among motion picture enthusiasts and bookworms alike?

Books are truly effective instruments that could shape the fashion of an individual’s way of thinking… whether they are converted into a motion picture script or not.
