Treatments for Insomnia

I’ve been having a hard time sleeping recently, but just yesterday until today I slept for the longest time ever. I had a super weird dream about numbers though, but it’s alright. Prior to sleeping I’ve tried counting stuff and thinking about numbers, and I guess it worked.

Now you can add that to your list of treatments for insomnia. who knows, it might just work for you too. Instead of counting sheep, just think about numbers. Others try to take some supplements too, and drink milk or tea before bedtime, because they also help.

But for now, I’ll stick with the numbers. It also helps a lot when you try to just calm down and relax.

Amazing Weightloss

Last night, someone who would rather not be named, told me something about her weight loss secrets. I think she’s been experimenting for quite sometime now and finally found a technique that works.

It’s amazing how someone could lose three kilos in just a short period of time. I guess that’s the wonder of the best proven weight loss pills. But still, it’s such an achievement, most especially for someone who barely exercise. Probably it has also something to do with her metabolism, because it’s became faster now, according to her.

Oh well, I hope she gets to reach and maintain her ideal weight soon, and stay there, so she doesn’t have to worry about weight gain again.

Buy memory for my netbook

I think I need to upgrade and buy memory for my netbook, because I am using programs that would only run smoothly if the pc has more memory. I hate it when it lags and slows down my work, most especially when I’m doing some vector projects with illustrator, and doing my random web stuff at the same time.

I missed those times when I had a more powerful pc, that allows me to open a lot of application, without experiencing any lag-time or screen freezing. After I settle what needs to be settled, the first thing I would do is get a new laptop, so I can do more projects, and probably start video editing too.

I also want to install a program that would allow me to create mixes, and make home brew music, without lifting any instrument. And most important of all, I can play great games again with super high resolution graphics.

Protective Glasses

Along the way home, I have noticed many workers in the construction site, straining sand, or manually mixing gravel and sand with cement. The area was super dusty, but to my surprise, only a few were wearing protective masks and most of them were not wearing protective glasses.

Our eyes are very valuable, that without it, it would be so hard to live a normal life. Protective glasses are not that expensive compared to your health, same with protective masks, to avoid enhaling those harmful elements.

I hope that the construction companies who hire those low-waged employees would at least provide them with the necessary protective gear, so their health won’t be compromised. When health deteriorates, the harder it will be for them to make money to feed their family and send their children to school. Health should always come first, and if it means spending a few bucks to buy protective glasses, so be it. A few bucks would mean a longterm investment.

Wallet to Body Proportion

I went to the nearby town to buy some supplies and it struck me how a lot of people are affected by obesity. It actually made me thought about the connection between fast food and obesity, especially since I saw a lot of overweight folks munching as they roam about, and they were moving so slow as if walking in the park, that it delayed some people who are in a hurry, caught up in the human-caused street traffic.

I wanted to tell them “will you please cease eating and just get moving” but I know that it’s mean to say that and besides, I know it isn’t always that simple! these are people with medical problems, and they don’t even seem to realize it. It seemed to me that it has become their way of life. I have noticed how people change weight so quickly, as if their weight reflects one is to one ratio to that of the size of their wallets.

When people have a lot of money, which they don’t normally have, they tend to put on weight, and when they lack funds, they simply start to lose weight. This isn’t healthy. The wrong choice of diet contributes a lot to how people gain or lose weight. The primary offenders are those fatty and sugary foods and fastfood diet, which everyone tend to be swayed into when they have money. They tend to lessen the consumption of fresh fish and lean meat, green leafy vegetables and fruits.

I wonder what’s going to happen if all those people will be picked up from the streets and be introduced to a new lifestyle and eating habit. Say for instance they are given a month to live in a diet camp, be given lipozene, introduced to a proper diet program, plus get involved in daily activities that involves sports and exercise. I’m pretty sure, when they get out of the camp and finish the program, they will come out as new individuals. Healthier and fit.

Sleepy Head

I told myself I have to spend more time working on this site. But recently, I keep on feeling drowsy and I fall asleep a lot for some reason, even during daytime. I don’t think it’s because of the vitamins though, or my medications, most probably it has something to do with the weather.

I have also noticed that my body clock is slowly switching back and adjusting to my old schedule. Which means, I would stay awake longer at night, and switch to sleeping at daytime. For some reason, my body has it’s own system, good thing, am in control of my time.

I guess I should just consider myself lucky, because others find it hard to sleep. Just like my landlord, he finds it hard to sleep at night. The doctor has prescribed him with sleeping pills, and his wife makes him drink tea at night, because it is proven to improve one’s sleep.

For now, my motto is, it is better to be a sleepy head, than to have no sleep at all.

This life is all about endless lessons and learnings. We just have to keep digging, and working, so that we will learn more about our true purpose in this life. Some say they are born to sing, some are born to dance, some are born to create beautiful art masterpieces, and others to play instruments.

Many women were born to become great mothers, and men to become the best fathers, and some say they remain single to fulfill their Mother Theresa dream of becoming the best social workers.

Others become politicians to help run the government, and implement laws to keep the world in order and to prevent chaos. While others become economists, to keep all the financial balls rolling.

Diamonds are forever

I wish I were a billionaire. and have a mine of diamonds. Everyone knows how expensive they are, and what wealth it could bring someone who will get hold of them. One good diamond piece is already too much, how much more if you have plenty of them?

Diamonds are forever, they are made in extreme conditions, and could not be easily destroyed. That’s why often, it is used in a couple’s ring, to signify a love that’s never ending. A bride feels more beautiful wearing a diamond ring on her wedding day.

They often say, diamonds are girls’ best friend. This is because women just simply love to wear beautiful jeweleries and accessories that have diamonds on them. If you give a girl an earring, bracelet, ring, or any accessory with diamond on it, as a gift. You wouldn’t fail to see that one of a kind reaction from them. Most especially those who know how to appreciate good gems.

But for someone like me who just dream to become a billionaire right now. I have no diamonds to give just yet. I still have to work my ass off to become a six digit earner, and who knows someday 7, and if luck strikes me infinite times, I will be able fulfill that Bruno Mars dream. But even if I wont, I know there’ll come a time when I could afford one, and no matter how expensive, I’ll give it to the one I love to treasure forever.

Missing Granny

So, what did you do on grandparent’s day? It’s a very special day for me, but unfortunately, it’s been awhile since I spent it with my granny. Things have become so complicated recently, and even though I’d love to surprise her or give her a gift, I’m way too far.

But I’m pretty sure that my cousins, siblings and the rest of the family spent that day in a special way, as always. They probably went out to eat or have dinner in her favorite restaurant. My grandma loves being pampered, and she is also kind of vain. She has her own natural beauty regimens, wrinkle remover, hair dye, etc. That’s why if you see her in person, you’d never even guess that she’s over eighty years old. So, I’m guessing that they brought her to the spa, have  a massage, brought her to the parlor, etc.

I really miss her a lot, and I’m looking forward to seeing her again. I  hope that I get to spend time with her again, just like before, and do something special for her. Even though we’re far from each other now, I know that my grandma loves me so much, and I love her too.

The fastest way to lose weight

The number of fat people int he world is growing in numbers every second of the day! Yes, it has become an epidemic. Many of them would pay just to get thin. But the question is how?

What is the fastest way to lose weight? Trust me, a lot of people all over the world, keep asking the same question, every single day. So, what the you think is the most effective weight loss technique?

For me, the first thing to do is to stop thinking about how and what to do in order to lose weight. Thinking about it is very stressful, and the more you think about it, you get pressured all the more. So, relax, and stop thinking about it, rather, start doing something!

How about getting up early in the morning to go for a jog. Sweat up! Second, increase you water intake. The more calories you burn, and the more sweat you excrete, the more water and fluids you need to replenish. Second, stay away from unhealthy stuff. you are trying to get rid of fat, so stay away from fat! Consider eating raw vegetables and fresh fruits, drink natural fruit juices, etc. This way you can avoid taking in unhealthy stuff.

Lastly, get enough rest. Sleep, snooze, snore if you have to snore. So your body will regain energy to do things and become active again the next day, and the days after, so you can continuously do all the things that will make you lsoe weight. The more idle and tired you are, the less you move, so the more likely you are to gain weight.

So, stop over thinking and keep moving! That for me, is the best and fastest way to lose weight.
