Neighbor's Talk

Oct 27 2009 Published by parisukat under Uncategorized

It’s really good to have a good relationship with your neighbors because you can talk to them about anything, and sometimes they even offer to help you with things without asking for any favor in return. Just like Kuya Kim, he was thinking of changing the interior design of his house. He already repainted the walls but tehre seems to be something missing. He asked his landlady and neighbor what he should do to give their house a new look. Tita Fanny said, try to put some area rugs to give the house a little accent because it looks pretty plain, besides it will also be a lot comfier for the kids to play and settle in. Manong Roger said he knows a place where Kuya Kim can find cheap yet good quality rugs.

He was having second thoughts through because his wife May just gave birth a few months ago and she would not be able to do the cleaning too often, and he’s wondering it it will be a good thing to do, because it might just attract dust and dirts inside the house. Manong Roger said he doesn’t have to worry too much with the cleaning part because doesn’t really cost much to have the rugs cleaned by their other neighbor once in awhile. Good thing he asked, at least now he knows what to do next, neighbors are truly of big help, even when it comes to little things. Tita Fanny even offered to give him some indoor plants to add a more refreshing ambiance to Kuya Kim’s place.

Oust Delio! – Pinoy Big Brother Double-Up

Oct 26 2009 Published by parisukat under Uncategorized

Pinoy Big Brother Double-Up housemate named Delio can’t help but get into my nerves. Being an uneducated person that he is, it only shows how stupid his ideas are and how he is too proud of himself trying to act as “Mr. Know-It-All” when in fact he knows nothing at all. He even mimic Manny Pacquiao for Juan dela Cruz’s sake! He does not even look a bit like the world boxing champ. I wonder if Manny would do me a favor by throwing even just a single punch right into the bastard’s face.

It makes me wonder how he got into the reality show, oh well, perhaps they needed more stupid people inside whom they can manipulate easily. He does not only bash other housemates, but he is also arrogant and sexist. He only want to do what pleases him and do not care about the much better ideas — which he’d rather oppose. And even if he knows he is wrong, he’d rather stick to his thing simply because he want to defy the idea that in fact there are women who are much better than he is. He sees women as inferior individuals who better live by his rules.  As Filipinos we are the kind who respect people no matter what their sexual orientation is — and Delio does not have this character. Not only that — he feels he is more intelligent than anyone else around him.

Stupid people like Delio are not worth voting for. If he stays in-house, I really think the whole Pinoy Big Brother Double-Up (PBB) staff is manipulating the entire thing. Oh well, when was it that they never did anyway? The whole thing is nothing but crap. Bashing Delio? Yeah! He deserves it! I wonder how his fellow Batangueños feel about having the likes of Delio as their representative.

Brian The Wonder Dog

Oct 26 2009 Published by parisukat under Uncategorized

Brian the wonder dog really amazes me. He is not only a fine looking breed but also a very intelligent one. The K9 pet dog owned by a certain family in Europe was given a recognition for his heroism. He saved the whole family, and most especially two kids from fire. How? He was able to trigger the emergency alert system that they have at home, as if he had human instincts.

The family have an old school emergency alert system, unlike the new ones right now that has automatic detectors, theirs needed to be triggered. The k9 was trained to do certain tricks, but they are no ordinary tricks that a dog can learn. Prior to becoming a pet, the dog formerly served in the military, however, after its handler suffered certain injuries during a mission, he had to retire and that’s how Brian became an ordinary family pet. But as we all can see, Brian did not retire in his duty to protect his master and his family from harm. This only shows that truly, dogs are man’s best friend.

The Second Biggest Problem Of Humanity

Oct 26 2009 Published by parisukat under Uncategorized

Next to climate change, the second biggest problem of all humanity right now is how to get rid of acne. Silly as it may sound, but it is true. From adolescents to adults, acne seems to be one of the most common cases that people worry about, even more than teens worry about their grades, or peer problems. Adults worry about those ugly spots on their faces more than they worry about their debts, financial status, mortgages, etc.

People don’t really get to see this, because TV and radio as well as newspapers make other problems circling around finance, politics and trading look like the worst problem in this world, but really  — it’s climate change first, and next is acne — Believe it or not!
