Tips for getting a better sleep

Are you insomniac, sleep deprived, or suffering from lack of sleep? Well. I’ve got a few tips that might help you to get a better sleep.
First, take frequent breaks during the workday. Walk around, get a drink of water, take some deep breaths. Engaging in a 30 to 60 minutes of exercise a couple of hours before bedtime could also help you relax, restore energy, banish depression and fight nervous tension.
Another tip for getting a better sleep that I find effective is maintaining a regular sleeping schedule. You train your brain and body clock to follow a certain schedule, thus making it easier for you to sleep just looking at your watch. It may sound crazy, but if you think you should be asleep by 9pm every night, a few minutes before that you’d find yourself yawning and sleepy. Just like how we manage our kid’s sleeping habit, putting them to bed at a scheduled time.
Do you know that eating your evening meal at least four hours before bedtime also helps to attain better sleep. Why is that so? It’s simple, an empty, resting stomach is more conducive to quality rest. You may also try a lukewarm(not a hot) bath prior to hitting the bed to sleep.
Lastly, to get a better sleep, maintain a good and positive attitude towards life. Fill your mind with happy thoughts, and be thankful for your blessings. :)
Hope you find my “Tips for getting a better sleep” useful. Sometimes counting sheeps or what have you isn’t enough. Avoid insomnia by managing your sleep habits. Happy Sleeping and sweet dreams to you guys!
