revamp time for the 1 year old parisukat
Posted by Lex - 26/08/08 at 04:08 amIt’s been a year since I got this domain and started blogging here in Parisukat. Although most of my personal posts were transferred to my personal site, so if you would notice the archives, it started September. But today, is the very same day that I got parisukat. I think it’s time to give this precious site a little make over, that’s why I’ve decided to change the theme. I love Justin Tadlock’s work, in fact, I have used a few series of wordpress structure theme versions. I would definitely consider using it again for this site. I am actually still using it for my other sites which includes my personal site lexnucleus and poetry site Bittersweet Collide.
This theme is almost similar to that of a couple of previous themes I’ve used. It’s more like Mandigo and Nonstandard theme combined, only more sleek looking. Actually, I just did a little tweaking and added a few things like the excerpt and etc. The original Clearview is more like the Nonstandard. I know this current theme may have a few seconds delay in loading time compared to previous themes, aside from mandigo which is pretty slow in loading when you are using 2 sidebars. But with single sidebar on the right and less scripts, it’s actually fast too. In fact, prior to switching to this theme I have considered using my own customized mandigo theme which I’ve used last year. I don’t know, I just really love that theme.
Anyway, most of the posts doesn’t have their lead images working due to this new theme is actually using a different format from structure and the rest. But, we’ll work on it slowly, while continuing to write articles. To all those who have always been there in the one year of parisukat’s journey in the blogging world, most especially to JJ, Lei, Adi, OJ, jei, ate lovie, and the rest… thank you.
There may be changes in the coming days, and Adi will be in-charge of this blog from now on. He’s my cousin and a part of the parisukat clan. He’s been the one taking care of this blog for quite awhile now. I’m sure he will do great, as he is doing perfectly well now. Parisukat is here to stay, not just for another year, but more.
It’s been a great year for parisukat, and for me…
as the song goes, “time and I may pass away, but my heart will always stay with you—”
