Halloween Costumes and etc.

It’s a long way before Halloween, but my friends are already busy preparing for it. Why? Because every year there’s a big Halloween costume party in our place, where everyone attends wearing their best Halloween costume. I’m sure there will be a lot of witches again this year. They flock in a huge variety, from those with the classic witch hat and super high bridged and pointed noses, white scary make-ups, to those colorful new age pretty witches. Both groups only have one thing in common, their magic flying broomsticks. There will be another biggest pumpkin contest this year and also pumpkin carving contest. It’s the season where pumpkins are the best seller in town, not for eating but for making jack-o-lanterns. The biggest event of the year would be the Halloween costumes contest. Me and my friends, as well as my siblings and their siblings always join the contest every year, which is open to people of all ages. Although there are different categories, so there are three possible major winners. One from the little kids categories, one from the junior, and one for adults. Everyone gets to have fun. Some customize their own costumes while others just buy their costumes and ads a personal touch to it. Costumes for different ages are usually sold in the shops and malls during the season, and some make their own prosthetic. But the government suggests that parents should just either use natural elements or make sure that the store they’re getting the costumes from follows the halloween costume safety standards. Because some prosthetics maybe harmful and toxic. I hope this year’s Halloween events would be as successful, and better than the previous year, I would really be happy if I could attend. I’m sure my neighbors are all preparing for it as early as now. It’d be a whole lot of fun I’m sure.
