living a fast paced life

Sta. Monica is one of the best places that I’ve been to, aside from the fact that it has a great beach, the people are warm too. I see a lot of asians around and they’re really nice. Although, my aunt said that it’s not that easy living out here. Of course, compared to how it’s like back home, the laid back life and all. Here you need to work really hard to cope with life, all the finances, fund your kids education and paying for your home, car, and the company providing car insurance cover, etc. Every move requires money, and without money you’re busted. I can see how much effort they exert everyday just to be able to maintain the kind of life they have. My uncle has a good stable job, but still my aunt would rather work to be able to earn extra income for the family, for their emergency fund, and as well as for the money that they send to relatives back home who may ask for help. Living a fast paced life isn’[t as easy as what most people back home think. Everyday, my cousin has a couple of jobs. My uncle does a part time work, and my aunt does overtime work as a nurse. But, I’m sure that all their hardwork will pay-off. They are planning to buy a property by the beach, it’s been a long time dream for them, and even my cousin is helping to save for that dream. In maybe a couple of years, they would be able to make that dream come true. That’s why as much as possible I don’t want to be an additional burden to them. but, I’m just so happy that I have a place to stay while I’m here. A place next to home.
