its been awhile

It so happened that she was online, I knew it because the YM smiley icon on her blog was lit up yellow. I’ve decided to drop a message to say hello. But, I think she wasn’t around or perhaps she was sleeping at that time. No sign of her until I logged off from my computer. When I woke up and signed in, I got a few offline messages in my instant messenger. She said, “Hey it’s been awhile, I’m so glad you dropped a message, If it’s alright I want to talk.” And so I waited for another couple of hours, and then she went online. It was a great feeling to be talking to an old friend. She told me things about her job, family, love life, and adventures. I’ve shared my side of the story too, which isn’t really as exciting as hers. This specific friend is one of those people whom I’ve been encouraging to blog. I was so happy when she told me that she already started out and she just needed my help to guide her. I told her all the possible resources for blogging, and advised her to apply for credit card if she doesn’t have one. Because as we all know, it would be a great help for a blogger to have one., especially in verifying her paypal account. I’m really happy that she considered my suggestion and that she’s now enjoying blogging as much as I do.
