francism “3 stars and a sun” inside parisukat

When I first thought of Parisukat’s concept, Francis “Kiko” Magalona aka FrancisM (Master Rapper), was one of the first few people who came into my mind. I thought of featuring him in the spotlight section. I’m not really into rap music but FrancisM’s Kaleidoscope World song is one of my ultimate favorites. His compositions are meaningful and they tackle issues that this world, and our country is facing. He also marked the birth of Makabayang or Nationalistic rap in Filipino hip hop in his first album Yo! with his “Mga Kababayan (My Countrymen) hit song. Then came “Tayo’y Mga Pinoy” (We Are Filipinos)” on his 2nd album. Until now he performs those songs wherever his every journey leads him, to promote the message of being proudly pinoy.
Francis Magalona is the son of late Philippine movie screen legends Pancho Magalona and Tita Duran, a husband to his wife Pia and a proud dad of 6 wonderful kids, namely Unna, Nicolo, Maxene, Frank, Isabella, Elmo, Arkin & Clara.
He truly is successful as an artist, a host, and a singer. And to those who doesnt’ know Kiko is an award-winning photographer too. In fact, he is a member of the elite Camera Club of the Philippines.
As an Entrepreneur….
He has founded his own record company called Red Egg Records, as well as his own production company Filipino Pictures Inc. wherein he is the resident Director and has made music videos for several bands and solo artists.
Francis also established his own clothing line which is the 3starsandasun(the official logo of his company is the tattoo on his back in the above photo).
