Be an Entrepreneur Not an Employee

I remember a successful businessman friend saying, if you want to help improve the country’s economy, while helping other people achieve their dreams and financial stability, be an entrepreneur not an employee.

To quote what he exactly said, “Students are taught to do well in school so they can get a good job. I think kids should study so they can start their own business. This is good for their experience and earnings, and will also create jobs in the country.”

Make calculated risks and never stop learning. Don’t be scared of taking risks. Leaving your current basic paying job might be the first step towards a better tomorrow. Having a small capital to start with is alright, that is how big businesses started off. It means you will be managing the business and hands on in every step of the way. Doing this, you gain experience, and it helps you learn, at the same time it helps you formulate new ideas and marketing strategies.

Read books, and if possible find someone who can be your mentor. Lastly, never give up too easily when things don’t work as planned, rather improvise, innovate, and stick to your goal, which is achieving your dreams. Anyway, when you become successful, you can just sit back and relax, maybe travel with your friends and enjoy watching Las Vegas Shows or whatever kind of fun you prefer. It’s all a matter of having a goal and achieving it.
