My web hosting choice

My web hosting choices includes staying with bluehost, moving to justhost, inmotion, or hostagator hosting. But seeing how bluehost is still on top when it comes to functionality, speed, up time, over-all customer service, price, and  most especially technical support — I am starting to have second thoughts.

After having my web hosting subscription for almost a couple of years now, and even though I have had a few frustrations with them in the past, those reasons don’t seem bad enough to just give up on the so far — most reliable hosting provider that I have had in a few years of my web presence. I have been with may other hosting companies in the past, and was left unsatisfied with the whole experience.

I have been busy reading and searching for reviews and feedback to serve as a tool with my decision-making, and I guess after reading the review from wpdesigner.com about bluehost, I have decided that I’d like to retain the service. I consider this a big factor, since I am also running my site on wordpress, and if a wordpress expert suggests that in fact, I am currently with the topnotch web hosting service provider, then it must mean, I have actually made the right choice.

National Dog Day!

National Dog Day is a big day for those who are very fond of dogs. I guess  I can say that I am one of them, because ever since I was a kid, we already have a lot of pet dogs. I have grown up with them, some died of old age, and some just passed away due to sickness. Some of our pet dogs are still alive until now.

Honestly, I have never celebrated the ‘National Dog Day’ before, nor am I aware that there is even such. Looks like I have been missing out on a lot, no wonder why most dog shows and exhibits are always done during this month. It is only now that I have realized it coz I have never really paid much attention to it before.

At least now I know that every August 26 is ‘National Dog Day’

web site hosting blues

Having web site hosting blues occurs when you’ve had enough bad experiences in the past when it comes to web site hosting services related companies whom you have trusted and subscribed with — only to get frustrated in the end.

Usually, it takes too much before you make a decision in choosing the next company to trust, and we seek advice or recommendations from both experts in web site hosting, developers, and end-users just like you. You take into account the success stories, the ratings, the feedback, and you read each and every line just to make sure that you will be doing the right thing, and you will be making the right decision prior to purchasing a new subscription.

There is nothing wrong with that, in fact, it is a big sign that you are on the right track. Choosing the right web site hosting company to trust is definitely a big deal, most especially if we talk about making money online, promoting our business, or trying to provide service to many clients online. Having frequent downtime is such a no-no, or having errors due to limited bandwidth or web space.

There are more things to consider aside from bandwidth and space, and all these you can check and find at webhostinggeeks.com — a great resource when it comes to web site hosting reviews, feedback, web site hosting ratings, comparisons, etc. A great tool that could provide help when it comes to choosing your next ‘web site hosting’ provider.

Procrastination

“Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.” according to Don Marquis, an American journalist and author, who is gifted with a good and well-appreciated sense of humor. Marquis was also known for being a novelist, newspaper columnist, playwright and poet. He is also known for his quotes, and the above stated is just one of the many. Anyway, back to our topic “procrastination”

Procrastination has been a long battle for mankind — an endless one. For some reason, procrastination has been a part in every single procrastinator soul in us. Procrastination or otherwise knows as the ‘I’ll do it later’ syndrome — a time waster disease. Though many of us believe that there’s no way we can avoid it, there actually effective ways or workarounds…

- Identify what you are procrastinating.
- Identify why you have not done these things. Seek out your deepest reason.
- Is there a fear underlying your reason? There is for most people.

We usually procrastinate due to unclear targets, lack of knowledge and the skills required to do a certain task. Sometimes we procrastinate simply because we fear moving into or exploring new horizons. Another reason is fear of failure and even fear of facing success, and dealing with becoming too overwhelmed. Or sometimes, we lack of time due to having too many commitments — and failure to manage our time and schedules effectively.

David Allen once said, “Much of the stress that people feel doesn’t come from having too much to do. It comes from not finishing what they started.” True enough, we often start something and then just suddenly take a halt and do otehr things and we often get distracted, and when we want to pursue what we’ve started, we don’t know what to do next — or you simply don’t feel like doing it anymore. Your interests in certain things have diminished or completely faded.

So the lesson here is that, do things when you can do them. Avoid the “i’ll do it later” attitude or thinking “I still have ample time.” Procrastination will not bring us anywhere near to reaching our goals. Aim, focus on the target, and hit that mark!

In debt?

Have you ever heard of the saying that goes, “Debt is a form of poverty – and one of the cruelest. It gives you the illusion of having more money than you do.” If not, well now you know, and Jerrold Mundis is the man behind this very insightful quote.

How much do you owe to a mortgage, credit cards and loans, other people? If you depend on debt to get what you want, you dig yourself into a deep financial hole.

If you are continually in financial distress, it may be time to adopt a very simple operating principle: spend less than you earn.

According to Bill Earle, “If your outgo exceeds your income, then your upkeep will be your downfall.”

nursing home services and elderly care

Not everyone has the luxury of time and money to keep their old folks at home, or to hire people to look after their elderly while they are in a far away place  working to provide for their whole family, and to give their young ones a good life and education. Often, the old ones who could not take care of themselves anymore, get left behind alone at home with no one to look after them. Because of this, nursing home services were introduced and home for the aged were built, to make sure than the old ones in the society are given proper care at all times until the last days of their lives.

Because of incovenience, distance, facilities in both medical and everyday living, as well as other factors, people are seriously taking the task of trying to find a nursing home that is most suitable and can give their old folks the best elderly care possible. A place where they will be comfortable and all their needs are being attented to. Somewhere where they do not only provide good nursing home services, but also considers giving each and every senior citizen who needs elderly care a second home, thus giving the concerned family a sense of assurance that their beloved parents and grandparents will be taken cared of from moment to moment.
