In our family, we got used to this practice of giving gifts during the three king’s day. This year I got a skully cap from my cousin Jay, and a set of nicely knitted baby beanies together with blue and white shoe-like socks for the little one. He said it’s from Lex. While I gave my three younger brothers shirts that I custom printed design on, and my mom the perfume that she loves, a not so expensive eye wear for my dad, and last but not the least, I bought Liv a of sandals that she’s always wanted to buy but have been second thoughts on buying due to our financial problems the previous year.

How about you, what gift did you receive or give out today? Do you practice gift giving during January 6 at all? I don’t know, maybe it’s just our thing. It’s fun though, and everyone is excited for this day to come. Even way back when we were kids, every 6th of January we go to church and then they give out gifts to all the kids who attends the mass.

Liv and I love watching movies, but usually we can’t go out due to our hectic schedules. So when we have a chance most especially during weekends we watch movies at home, either through dvd’s or online. But I’ve noticed that our LCD is getting a little blurry at times and the color is totally off. Right now, we’re still saving up for a new one, and I am thinking of a Rackmount lcd because of it’s superb and clear quality, and the positive reviews from critiques. I wonder if someone out there could tell me personally about their experience in using one. We need only a clear choice coz we don’t have much extra money for other expenses right now. Besides, watching movies is our ultimate bonding moment and luxury, not to mention the icecream and fries.

Christmas is over and and so is the year 2008. It’s year 2009 and Chinese New Year is also Fast Approaching. My Chinese horoscope says I’ll be lucky this year, well I always beleieve in good Karma. I’ve been very blessed for the past year and I think it’s because I have done good to others and let go of the bad habits too. When you do good you absorb good karma. This year would truly be a happy one for me, at long last Liv and I are getting married. We’ve waited too long for this to happen and to come. We’ve both been working so hard to pay off our debts which we got over and done with last December. Now, we’re debt free and somehow we got to save enough for our coming wedding. I’m so glad that God is hearing my prayers. For this new year, the only thing I wish for is good health for everyone, mst especially my son. He’s been sick quite a lot last eyar, I hope that this year would bring us good health and more blessings. I always wish that my cousin will get well soon, so the entire clan will be free from worries, most especially our sick grandma. This is all all I pray and Thank for!!! May God Bless us all! If I were to buy myself a pair of glasses this would be the perfect design for me, coz I’m a simple guy who want to keep my special powers behind those geeky stylish glasses just like my favorite superheroes spider man and superman, and not to mention the all time  favorite of girls worldwide, Harry Potter. I’m so thankful for those movies making people wearing glasses look extra cool. In fact, many started wearing glasses for fashion, so those who have been wearing one because they were prescribed to, do not feel awkward anymore being around people and socializing, because they’re totally “in” nowadays. Glasses used to refer to the word geek which everyone used to describe bright people but with no sense of fashion, but now it is a symbol of the much better said word, “intellect” and fashionable at the same time. Coolie! But I still like being called geek, for me geeks are cool old skool. Okay too much about this blabbery, what I’m trying to say is, I’m a geek and proud of it. And now, I’m off to finding this pair of stylish glasses from the one and only leading source of affordable Holiday frames that are currently set on the loose for overly low prices. Man, you’ll have to excuse me for cutting this post short coz  I’m about to catch myself one pair before they run out. Bye bye! Happy New Year Folks!

It’s New Year, are you Happy? Did that question made you think or what? According to Agnes Repplier, “It is not easy to find happiness in ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere.” So if you’re answer to my question is Yes, you have no problem and you can start the year with a smile, but it your answer is no, I guess you have to start thinking why you’re unhappy, and not start asking yourself until your answer is yes. You can’t afford to be unhappy all year, this is another year, leave all your cares and past behind. Ask yourself the questions, What can make me happy? How can I make myself happy? Sometimes you ask Who can make me happy, but the latter question should remind you of what Agnes Repplier said. So before going into the world to find those things and people that can make you “happier”, try to search within yourself first and determine how you can be “happy” on your own!

Then if you finally figured it out, and your answer to the question is YES, now you can be happy with others without blaming them of your own “unhappiness” in the past.

hAPPY nEW yEAR!!!!!!

One of the things that has become a part of women’s vanities is hair removal some do shaving, some are into waxing, some really do permanent hair removal and are not afraid to go through the laser hair removal procedure. Well, it’s been proven safe and since then multitude of women have considered doing so. And this is not only applicable to women but also to men. The cleaner and hairless one becoems, the smoother they feel, so why question satisfaction? I would consider doing this myself, in fact I’m saving up for it. Waxing has been really painful, although as you get used to it, it becomes less painful. But still, why waste time on having to maintain something when you can completely get rid of those unwanted hairs. It’s not something gay, call people vain, but it’s something that everyone must accept. Clean is definitely sexier.

Aside from his bathroom vanities he made his quiet haven a very comfortable place to hang out at, complete with everything a beautiful bathroom has. Although on the side you could see a neat news paper and magazine stand with a little bookshelf. He spent most of his quiet time inside this little room. Well, I can’t really call it little because it’s quite spacious compared to those normal bathrooms you would see around. I don’t know, but he really just like hanging around in there. Sometimes when he is sad, you could hear him crying, or he locks the door and screams when he is mad while the shower is on, but all his emotions he only pour out in that his secret quiet place.So, I would definitely say it must be one of his most fave place in this world.
